Is Western Cape and Gauteng going back to level 5?

On the 13 of May 2020, Wednesday the president of South Africa Cyril Ramaphosa addressed the nation about the regulations on level 3 as many businesses are facing a big loss of income.

Stated by the Department of health in South Africa, The Western Cape has 6173 corona virus and Gauteng has 2074 corona virus cases.

Alert levels 3 to 1 allow a progressively greater relaxation of restrictions. As I indicated then, some areas of the country may be designated at a particular alert level, while others may be designated at other levels.

President Cyril Ramaphosa said that the coronavirus is making a big impact not only on the health of the south africans, but also on people’s ability to work and earn income to not only feed themselves but their families, to learn and to develop and to enjoy many of the basic freedoms that we daily take for granted.

Is Western Cape and Gauteng going back to level 5?

Unfortunately the government has not announced it, while some south africans are complaining that the western cape should go back while others are saying the different thing.

My answer to this question is both yes and no because some south africans during the lockdown, they are struggling to feed themselves or their families because they are not receiving income and they end roaming the streets looking for some food.

The reason why I say no it should not go back, for instance the number of deaths in America is more than 5000 so I suggest that the government should think about the health of the south africans.
